Am I guaranteed
access to all shows onboard?
Everyone is guaranteed admission to ONE
John Mayer headlining show, but the rest of the event is run
“festival style,” with multiple shows going on
simultaneously. All of those shows are general admission,
so you’re welcome to come and go as you wish!
How does
admission work at my one john mayer headlining show?
Admission in the main theatre will consist
of 2 choices based on availability and prioritized by the
date you place your reservation.
You will be asked during the booking process
for your preferred show (“Show 1” or “Show
2”) and for your preferred admission choice (“A.
Lower Level Standing” or “B. Balcony Seating”).
(A) Standing-room-only “modified”
general admission on the lower level will assign guests by
section and row but does not allow each guest a seat. The
number of guests assigned to each row will exceed the number
of available seats and is considered to be standing-room-only.
(B) Reserved/assigned seating on the balcony
level is just that – a specific seat for each guest
– although we realize that at a concert people are still
likely to stand.
The selections you make will apply to
each guest in your cabin and you can change your preferences
at any time prior to November 16, 2007, subject to availability.
Final assignments will be made 4-6 weeks prior to our sail
date.
What is ship's
itinerary?
Subject to change, the cruise itinerary

* It is not advised to book a flight any earlier than 12 Noon on the 4th - Customs could delay debarkation
How do I
make a reservation?
Placing a reservation is easy! You can
book a cabin online at www.MayercraftCarrier.com
or over the phone by calling 877-SIXTHMAN.
What information
will I need to book my cabin?
Before placing your reservation, make sure
you have the Sixthman ID number (see below) for all of your
guests. If someone in your reservation does not have an ID
number, they can sign up for one prior to placing the reservation
at www.sixthman.net/member.
If you are unsure of who your guests will
be at the time of booking you can fill in only the information
you know and add additional guests later. Be advised that
you are obligated for the full cruise fare of the occupancy
level you select during the reservation process even should
you not provide additional guest information to us. You will
only be charged the taxes and fees for each guest you provide
during the booking process. If you later add additional guests
to your cabin you will be charged the taxes and fees associated
with that guest when you do so. If you wish to add additional
guests beyond the capacity of the occupancy level you select
during the reservation process you may do so for the additional
cruise fare associated with the transaction based on availability.
Adding guests to your cabin is not considered a name change
but any change your make to your reservation, including adding
guests, after December 10, 2007, is subject to a minimum $50
administrative fee.
If you are paying with multiple credit cards,
you will need all of the credit card numbers (with expiration
date and card verification number) as well as the name and
billing addresses for each card. Your own credit card information
can be stored in your Sixthman ID profile to expedite the
payment process.
You will also be asked for a dining preference.
The Victory has two dining rooms and four seatings. Everyone
in your cabin will be assigned to a specific dining room and
dining time, but we do not make table assignments. You may
sit where you like.
What is
a Sixthman ID Number?
Sixthman has introduced a new reservation
system that allows guests to create a profile and register
for a Sixthman ID.
Your Sixthman ID number is similar to
the AirTran
A+ Rewards or Hertz
#1 Gold programs, and you can use your ID
number (and that of your cabinmates) to quickly tell us who
is coming with you without filling in each guests' personal
information. If you are the lead passenger, make sure your
cabinmates have verified their profile and provide you with
their ID number to expedite your booking process.
If you’ve sailed with us in the
past we have already loaded your profile based on the information
you gave us in the past so registering should only take a
moment to finish; plus you will be offered the opportunity
to securely store your personal credit card information for
easy check-out when you place any future reservation.
To recover your already-assigned Sixthman
ID visit www.sixthman.net/member
and click FORGOT YOUR SIXTHMAN ID OR PASSWORD
and a log-in URL will be sent to you.
If you’re new to the Sixthman family
visit that same link and click REGISTER NOW.
Sixthman is also introducing a new referral
program in which you can use your Sixthman ID to refer guests
to join you (or just join us!) on any Sixthman event. New
guests that join us on any of the events we promote and produce
can use your Sixthman ID as their referral and you can earn
cash or on-board spending credits. Complete terms and conditions
of the Sixthman referral program are listed elsewhere on this
page.
What if
I want to book a solo cabin?
Guests traveling by themselves in their
own cabin are still responsible for the double-occupancy rate
of the cabin less the second guest add-on/port fees ($99)
and $149 for the second guest "entertainment" portion
of the cruise fare.
If you place your solo reservation online
please contact us upon completion
so we can make sure those reductions are applied correctly.
Can I book
a Suite or Penthouse?
There are a limited number of Suites available
on the Empress and Lido decks.
If those cabin types do not appear on
our reservation system when you book it is because they are
sold out. If you would like to be wait-listed for an upgrade
should a Suite or Penthouse become available you should place
a reservation and request the upgrade in the COMMENT
section.
Only existing reservations will be considered
for an upgrade, all of which will be granted on a first-booked,
first-served basis.
What is
the bed configuration in each cabin?
On Carnival’s deck
map, all cabins with no symbol can hold 2 people, all
cabins with one single dot can hold 3 people, and all cabins
with two dots can hold 4 people.
All double occupancy cabins (with the
exception of category 1A) have two twin beds that can be easily
pushed together by your cabin steward to form a king. All
triple occupancy cabins have two twin beds and one bunk bed,
and all quad occupancy cabins have two twin beds and two bunk
beds.
All category 1A cabins have one twin bed
on the ground and one bunk bed.
What are
the age requirements for The Mayercraft Carrier?
Guests are required to be 21 years old
(on embarkation day) to travel in their own cabin.
Guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied
in the same stateroom by an individual twenty-five years or
older. The exceptions Carnival will make to this policy are:
Guests under the age of 21 traveling with
a parent or guardian in an accompanying stateroom.
Married minor couple - The booking must
be documented that the couple is married. The couple must
have proof of marriage at embarkation or they will be denied
boarding without the benefit of a refund.

legal proof of partnership/union at embarkation or they will
be denied boarding without the benefit of a refund.
Guest ages will be verified at embarkation.
Guests not conforming to this policy will be denied boarding
and assessed a 100% cancellation penalty. NO exceptions will
be made at embarkation.
How does
travel insurance work?
Sixthman has teamed up with iTravelInsured®
(iTI), which specializes in marketing, managing and servicing
travel insurance and emergency assistance services. The Custom
Travel Protection program offered through iTI helps protect
travelers whose trips are cancelled or interrupted due to
unforeseen events such as emergency illness or injury to the
traveler or a travel companion, missed or delayed flights,
lost or stolen luggage, and emergency medical and dental expenses,
as well as 24 hour emergency travel assistance.*
Why Purchase
Travel Protection?
Travel protection provides you with the
necessary coverage to help safeguard your travel “investment”
from unforeseen circumstances such as:
• Illness or injury to you or
a traveling companion or immediate family member causing
you to cancel or interrupt your trip
• Jury duty
• Job layoff or termination
• Terrorist events
• Bankruptcy or default of your airline, cruise line
or tour operator
• A hurricane that strikes your trip
This coverage must be purchased before
your final payment due date. Coverage for all benefits except
trip cancellation will begin on the departure date. The trip
cancellation benefit will begin at 12:01 a.m. on the day after
iTI receives your application.
Visit www.sixthman.net/insurance.pdf
for more details about this iTI program.
We know you might have questions about
what is and is not covered so we encourage you to read the
online brochure or call iTI at 866-347-6673.
How do
I purchase cruise or travel insurance?
You may purchase travel insurance while
placing your reservation online or by calling our representatives
at 877-SIXTHMAN after your reservation has been placed. Insurance
is done per person and costs 5% of the amount you’d
like covered. You may also call us to request additional coverage
for other non-cruise travel, such as airfare and deposits
on ground or hotel. Non-cruise travel insurance is also 5%
of the amount to be covered.
Can I attend
if I am pregnant or just had a baby?
Any guest entering her third trimester
(27 weeks or more) is not permitted to sail and will be denied
boarding. This policy is in place for the safety of the guest.
The ship infirmaries are only equipped for minor emergencies,
and are not hospitals. Infants under 4 months old are also
not permitted to sail.
How do I manage
my reservation?

to make installment payments on their cruise over time. The
date that you place your reservation will dictate your minimum
deposit amount after which you would be required to make any
future payments according to the schedule.
• 25% of cruise fees due at time

for the person(s) named within as Guests and cannot be transferred
without Sixthman's written consent.
With written consent you may transfer
your reservation to another party with a $299 transfer fee
charged to reservation.
Sixthman will not consent to a reservation
transfer during any pre-sale period, after an event sell-out
when a waiting list exists, or after the final-payment date.
What
is the Referral Program for The Mayercraft Carrier?
For each cabin you refer to The Mayercraft
Carrier, you will earn $100 if you sail on a future event!
Make sure the new cabin puts your Sixthman
ID in the REFERRAL blank when placing their reservation; referrals
are not retroactive, and do not apply during the pre-sale
period.
Referrals will be reconciled three weeks
prior to sailing, and all referrers who are registered guests
on an upcoming event will see their $100 credit in the form
of a Sail and Sign credit onboard. All Sixthman events are
fair game! Even if you refer someone to another Sixthman cruise,
make sure they use your Sixthman ID so you can receive credit.
For the first time ever, even non-registered
guests can earn referral credit! The procedure is the same,
but instead of a Sail and Sign credit, you’ll earn $50
cash when referrals are reconciled!
All guests in the referred cabin must
be new to any Sixthman event, and the referral must be requested
at the time of booking or registering for any waitlist.
What type of
identification will I need to board the ship?
From the Carnival website here.
Carnival could update this information without notice.
The U.S. Government will soon require all of
our guests (including U.S. citizens) to be in possession of
a valid passport when traveling on any Carnival cruise. Foreign
nationals should contact their respective governments to obtain
further details. This requirement may become effective
as early as January 1, 2008.
AIR TRAVEL
Effective January 23, 2007,
passports will be required for air travel to or from Canada,
Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean, The Bahamas
and Bermuda. This is an important new requirement for our
cruise guests traveling by air to embark or debark in Vancouver
for our Alaska or Hawaii cruises. In addition, this new requirement
will also impact our Canadian guests that travel by air to
or from any of our U.S. embarkation ports.
Carnival strongly recommends that all
guests travel with a valid passport during their cruise. This
will enable guests to fly from the U.S. to meet their ship
at the first port should they miss their scheduled embarkation;
and allow guests that must debark the ship before their cruise
ends to fly back to the U.S. without significant delays and
complications. Additionally, it will greatly help to expedite
their debark process.
For more information or to obtain a passport
application, visit www.travel.state.gov.
Passport Services (www.passportservices.com/carnival)
can also assist with step-by-step instructions and application
assistance.
If you are not a US Citizen, please call US
Immigrations at 1-800-375-5283 to be sure your identification
will be satisfactory.
Please note that the name on your ticket must
match the name on your passport or you will need to provide
an original copy of proof of change of name (marriage license,
etc).

there airline discounts?

of Sixthman and will offer guests of The Mayercraft Carrier

addition to other perks.

Will
there be an official Kick-Off Party?
We've taken over the outdoor pool area at the Sheraton Miami Mart hotel Thursday, January 31. We'll have music, latin inspired food, drinks, and plenty of time and space for you to mix and mingle with your fellow Mayercraft Carrier guests prior to sailing. Admission to the party is free, but there is a charge for food and drinks - make sure to bring cash! The food and drink stations will be open from 6-10pm, and then you're welcome to stick around the hotel or explore what Miami has to offer.
When
will I be sent my boarding documentation?
Carnival uses the "Funpass" system
which allows you to print your boarding pass online, much
like an E-Ticket. To do so, you will be sent a unique Carnival
Booking Number 3-5 weeks prior to the cruise and be directed
to the Carnival site.
Also 3-5 weeks prior, the Lead Passenger
in the reservation will be sent via mail luggage tags and
Sail & Sign applications for each guest in the cabin.
What
is the performance schedule?
The exact performance schedule will be
released prior to the cruise but count on a festival type
scheduling with multiple shows occurring on multiple stages!
What
is the dress code onboard?
The dress code for The Mayercraft Carrier
is much more relaxed than a normal cruise. Just be comfortable!
The only thing we ask is that you don’t wear bathing
suits or ripped clothing in the dining room. There will be
one ‘formal night’ onboard that you are welcome
to get a little more gussied up for, but even that is a little
more casual than black tie.
Additionally, we’ll announce a couple
of “theme nights” as we get closer to cruise time
that, and we hope everyone will join in the fun!
What
dining options are available onboard?
There is no shortage of food onboard -
enjoy a quick snack out by the pool, hit the buffet or enjoy
24 hour room service…that’s all included in your
cabin price! The buffet includes all types of food around
the clock, so if you’re looking for a sandwich, salad,
international cuisine, or just a slice of pizza, your cravings
will be satisfied.
Additionally, the formal dining rooms
offer a nicer, sit-down meal for the times you’re more
interested in being waited on. View sample menus here:
• Breakfast
Sample Menu
• Luncheon
Sample Menu
• Dinner
Sample Menu
These meals are also included in your
cruise price.
Can
I sit with my friends at dinner?
The Victory has two dining rooms and four
seatings. Everyone in your cabin will be assigned to a specific
dining room and dining time, but we do not make table assignments.
You may sit where you like.
If you want to sit with specific people for
dinner, you should coordinate with them in advance to be assigned
the same dining time and simply arrive together at the dining
room. The dining room staff will then seat your group at a
table. To best accommodate seating a group together, please
arrive on time, as tables may fill up and large groups may
not be able to be accommodated all at one table.
Can
special diets be accommodated?
Guests with diet requirements can be accommodated
on board. We do not have Dieticians onboard; therefore, we
can only offer assistance with simple requests such as the
method of preparation of menu items. The special diet requirements
need to be arranged with the guest's Headwaiter on the first
night of the cruise. Every menu (in the dining room) has Spa
Carnival Cuisine Fare. These items are lower in calories,
sodium, cholesterol and fat. Salads are prepared with diet
dressing. Desserts are prepared with Sweet'N Low or NutraSweet
instead of sugar. In addition, each menu has one vegetarian
entree. Low-cholesterol egg substitute is available upon request
as well as diet jellies at breakfast.
The following simple diets can be prepared
onboard:
• vegetarian
• salt-free
• bland
• low sugar
The following food is not available onboard:
• Kosher meals
• Baby Food and Formula
What
is Carnival’s Sign & Sail program and how does it
work?

Carnival could update this information without notice.
Sail & Sign is Carnival's cashless
on board credit program which allows guests to charge purchases
directly to a personal account for convenience throughout
the cruise.
Registration will take place on sailing
day at embarkation or on board at the Information Desk. The
completed application form (included in the cruise documents)
must be submitted along with a 1) credit card, 2) U.S. currency,
or 3) traveler's checks.
Personalized Sail & Sign cards will
be provided to all guests on a booking (including minors)
and are valid for use immediately upon boarding the ship.
The Information Desk can provide guests
with a balance update at any time throughout the cruise.
All charges will automatically be billed
to the guest's credit card at the end of the voyage. On the
final morning of the cruise, a statement detailing all purchases
made with the Sail & Sign card will be delivered to the
guest's stateroom. The total amount will be applied to the
credit card presented during registration. For those guests
who put down a cash deposit, if there is an overpayment at
the end of the cruise, the guest will receive the overpayment
in the form of a check attached to their detailed statement
on the final morning of the cruise.
Please remember, you’re always welcome
to make a cash payment toward your final balance (even if
you put a credit card down) at any time during the cruise.
Any inquiries regarding a Sail & Sign
Account made after the cruise, need to be referred to the
Guest Relations Department (71551) for researching.
Note:
• The American Express "Persona
Select" is not an acceptable credit card.
• Regular ATM debit cards are not acceptable.
• Guests may use a checking account debit card as
long as it is a registered MasterCard or Visa card.
• A guest traveling without his/her parents cannot
use the parents' credit card even with the parents' written
permission
• The cardholding guest must be an authorized signer
by the card issuing bank.
• Upon completion of the Sail & Sign Application
Form, the cardholder agrees to pay for the individuals indicated
on the form; it is not necessary for these individuals to
be booked in the same room as the cardholder.
Important Note: A hold will be placed
on the credit card or checking account debit card at the beginning
of the cruise as a deposit for an onboard purchases. This
will reduce the amount of available credit on the credit card
or restrict the availability of cash in the checking account.
The hold will be released and actual charges will be billed
at the end of the cruise.
For The Mayercraft Carrier, $100 per guest
is used as a deposit and placed as a hold on the credit card
when the Sail & Sign Account is opened.
